Card Making
In order to replenish the stocks of hand made cards which have been selling well, card making sessions have been arranged on Tuesday evenings about once a month through the year.
If you would like to join in a useful and fun evening (no experience required), come along with scissors, stick ons, glue and any oddments you feel might be useful, on any of the following dates:

Parish Project 2008
This year for our major fundraising effort, we are supporting the Society of St Francis, and their work with asylum seekers and refugees - or to give an older and more general description - "Displaced Persons". This is a somewhat controversial subject and one about which there is a lot of confusion, and indeed misinformation.
A group from church visited the Brothers on July 19th at their lovely peaceful House at Plaistow, and found out more about their work and some of the issues involved. It was a most interesting and informative visit - for a fuller report, see the September issue of the Parish Magazine.
