New Service Arrangements

Happily we are now able to open the church for communion services on Wednesdays at 11.00 and Sundays  at 8.00 a.m.and 10.00 a.m respectively, but on the 1st Sunday of the month there will be a Children's service in the Church Hall at 10.00 in place of the communion service.
Services will be socially distanced, but booking is no longer required  - details of the new arrangements are in the Vicar's letter (link below),  or by clicking here.
These new arrangements have been subject to a Risk Assessment, a copy of which is available  by clicking here.
Please read  the Vicar's newsletter by clicking here, for details of services,  which are also shown in the website calendar ( from the dropdown menu in the What's On tab)
However, though physically separated, we are still united with God and one another through prayer and love!
There is currently no weekly Notices Sheet but please keep looking for when it returns. Instead there is a Letter from the Vicar giving details of weekly readings and services, as well as other items of interest. This  and some Suggested Prayers for the Times, plus details of current services online and in church can be found via the links below. Also, our bi-monthly Parish Magazine is now published online, just click here.

Activities that will return when we get back to normal!

St Oswald's has a very busy social calendar, which is constantly updating. You will find details of most of the regular groups that you can attend in the Clubs and Groups section.
However, every
Monday Cafe O is open to anyone who fancies a cake and a cuppa - click here for more information.
We also have a
holiday club running every summer for children from Reception to Y6 - click here for more information.
Throughout the year we run a variety of social events such as quizzes, barn dances and picnics, to which all are welcome. Visit the
Calendar page for more information and keep checking back to see when more events are added!

Family Service

The Family Service is now being held in person at 10am on the first Sunday of each month, but with limited numbers so booking is required. Please email for further details and to enquire about booking. All family services are posted online and we are also broadcasting them each month via our Facebook Live channel - click here!
