Please note that until further notice most services, and all church groups are suspended and except during the services at 10.00 a.m on Sunday and 11.00 a.m. on Wednesday the Church building will be kept locked.
However, though physically separated, we are still united with God and one another through prayer and love!

There is currently no weekly Notices Sheet but please keep looking for when it returns. Instead there is a Letter from the Vicar giving details of weekly readings and services, as well as other items of general interest. This  and some Suggested Prayers for the Times, plus details of current services online and in church can be found via the links below.

What's On?

St Oswald's has a very busy social calendar, which is constantly updating. You will find details of most of the regular groups that you can attend in the Clubs and Groups section.
However, every Monday Cafe O is open to anyone who fancies a cake and a cuppa - click here for more information.
We also have a holiday club running every summer for children from Reception to Y6 - click here for more information.
Throughout the year we run a variety of social events such as quizzes, barn dances and picnics, to which all are welcome. Visit the Calendar page for more information and keep checking back to see when more events are added!

Family Service

Sorry, Family Service is suspended until further notice. Watch this space and we look forward to seeing you when we can get back to normal activities.

In 2020 every Family service is about one kind of animal or another. Turn up and see what wonderful creatures appear!

Do you subscribe to our Parish Magazine?

If not, and you would like to, why not contact the team at
or pick up a sample copy at church.
From 2020 it will be produced every other month, and will cost £3.00 for the six issues a year; it contains much of interest to all,  not just churchgoers, as well as the diary of services and events.

Should you wish to place an article in the Magazine, or publicise a church event, please use the email contact above.
